As a Finance Manager m/f/d) at FORMEL SKIN, you will take ownership of the accounting and financial control function, playing a crucial role in establishing solid financial workflows and accounting practices. Your work will bring greater transparency to our reporting and strengthen our financial governance across the group.
What you’ll be doing
Accounting Function Ownership: Processing of all transactions relevant to the general ledger and sub-ledger of our companies in NetSuite, our ERP system
Financial Reporting: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and consolidation in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and investor reporting requirements
Group Consolidation: Managing the end-to-end group consolidation process across all entities, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and foreign currency translation
Cash Flow Forecasting & Treasury: Owning the rolling cash flow forecast, monitoring working capital, and ensuring sufficient liquidity across the TS group
Purchase Order Management: Overseeing the purchase order process, including approvals, matching to invoices, and ensuring adherence to procurement controls
Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Supporting the annual budget process and delivering timely variance analysis against actuals to drive business insight
Consolidation across all Entities: Ensuring the correct accounting of complex matters and checking the plausibility of reports and key figures across all entities
Stakeholder Management: Liaising with tax advisors, auditors and financial authorities
Driving Compliance: Supporting the implementation of accounting requirements and maintaining robust internal controls
Controlling Ownership: Proactively driving the needed adjustments in our accounting set-up and cost controlling
Improving Workflows: Drive projects that improve transparency, workflows and process efficiency
What you need to shine
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant background with both educational and commercial training, including hands-on experience in a finance function managing multiple entities or a group structure
Numerical Proficiency: Confident in handling numbers with an analytical and process-oriented approach, combined with strong Excel skills and experience using NetSuite
Accounting Proficiency: Professional experience in accounting with very good HGB knowledge
Group Consolidation Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-entity consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and group reporting
Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Experience building and maintaining cash flow forecasts and understanding working capital requirements
Purchase Order & AP Process Knowledge: Familiarity with end-to-end purchase order workflows and accounts payable controls
Multi-tasking & Prioritisation: Ability to manage competing deadlines across month-end close, audits, tax filings, and ad hoc projects simultaneously without compromising accuracy
Self-Organisation and Project Management: A distinct result/goal orientation, the will to further develop yourself, and the passion for “getting things done”
Language Proficiency: Strong communications in English. German is preferred
